The station order follows Naver Map subway information (checked 2026-11-08). On Line 4, Myeong-dong and Chungmuro are neighbouring stations, so you can come without changing trains. The alley route from Exit 8 to the restaurant is described step by step on the directions page.
Walking from Myeong-dong Station via Exit 10 takes about 13 minutes (770 m, Naver Map walking route, checked 2026-11-08), so you can choose between that and one subway stop to Exit 8. From central Myeong-dong or a hotel the time depends on where you start and which streets you take, so we have not printed a number; please rely on a map app. If people in your group set off from different places, meeting at Chungmuro Station Exit 8 keeps things simple.
Azekase Chungmuro is listed on Naver Place as a Korean pub-restaurant (yorijujeom) and serves courses and dishes built around seafood. In the evening we prepare seafood courses in an omakase format; the full course contents are published on the Naver Place menu tab, and the seafood changes with the season.
We serve both live-fish sashimi and aged sashimi, and for each kind of fish and each season we choose whichever state is in finer condition at that time, aged or live. There are Korean dishes too, such as seaweed soup in the course and army stew or raw fish rice bowls as single dishes, so guests who do not eat much raw fish can share the meal comfortably.

We do not compare ourselves with other restaurants by name; we only report our own records. Azekase Chungmuro sits in a side street one station from the centre of Myeong-dong, and many guests drop in without a booking. Among the latest 210 Naver visitor reviews (visits from 2026-07-15 to 11-06), 132 said they came without a booking and 77 with one.
Some weekday evenings do fill up, though, so for a large group or a fixed time we suggest booking ahead on Naver Booking or CatchTable. We do not take phone bookings. Same-day bookings are possible, so you can still try even if your plans are settled that afternoon.
